AAFRC TRUST FOR PHILANTHROPY APPOINTS CHAIR, VICE CHAIR, SECRETARY AND TREASURER

Leo P. Arnoult, CFRE, Hank Goldstein, CFRE, Del Martin, CFRE, and Richard T. Jolly have been appointed Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, of the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy.

Leo P. Arnoult, CFRE, President of Arnoult & Associates, Inc., Memphis, Tennessee, has been elected Chair of the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy. Arnoult & Associates, Inc. is a marketing, management and fundraising consulting firm dedicated to enabling nonprofit organizations to fully realize their ongoing missions. Arnoult founded Arnoult & Associates, Inc. in 1985. He has provided independent consulting services to assist nonprofit clients in strengthening their development programs.

Henry (Hank) Goldstein, CFRE, CEO of The Oram Group, Inc., New York, New York, has been elected Vice Chair of the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy. Goldstein has served philanthropic institutions since 1956. Mr. Goldstein joined The Oram Group, Inc. as an account executive in 1964 and purchased the company in 1978, and sold most of it to colleagues in 1992. The Oram Group, Inc. marked its 60th anniversary in 2000.

Del Martin, CFRE, Vice President of Alexander Haas Martin & Partners, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia, has been elected Secretary of the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy. As a founder of Alexander Haas Martin & Partners, Inc., Martin serves as its chief marketing officer, overseeing the development of campaign marketing plans and materials for all clients as well as the firm’s marketing activities. Martin has worked with over 100 capital and endowment campaigns. She consults on campaigns and the establishment of major gifts and annual fund programs.

Richard T. Jolly, Vice President and Treasurer of Marts & Lundy, Lyndhurst, New Jersey, has been elected Treasurer of the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy. Jolly began his career at Marts & Lundy in 1979. He directed his first capital campaign in 1982 and since that time has been involved in numerous campaigns at independent schools, colleges, museums, seminaries and other institutions across the United States. Marts & Lundy is a full-service fundraising consulting firm which serves all types of non-profit insititutions, providing campaign counseling, feasibility studies, planned giving and annual fund counseling, prospect research, staff training and writing services.

The AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy was founded in 1985 by the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (AAFRC) to advance research, education and public understanding of philanthropy. Giving USA, the centerpiece publication of the trust, provides the only published comprehensive estimate of philanthropic giving in the United States.
